A thank you note from Monster Truck
The results are in and I can confirm that we all raised €2,300 for the HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF fund last Saturday at our bring and buy sale. Thank you to Cristo (the master planner), James Kerwin for DJ and poster, Lucy and Rayne for manning the whiskey Tea and cake stall, Michelle and Bennie and their crew for the hand crafted cards and knickers, the AMAZING coffee stand Tim McCarthy and Rob Dunne, the Monster Truck artists for giving art and making buns and cakes, Pete’s nieces and nephews for their drawings and all who contributed, bought and sold the objects of desire.
Also to those who bought coffee for €20 and individual donations that ratcheted up the numbers – your energies have inspired us and we think you are top.

About Monster Truck
Monster Truck Gallery and Studios is an arts organisation founded by a group of like minded artists and designer friends with the aim of creating a new, independent space for artistic activity. The gallery and studios are located in a 3 floor building on Francis Street, Dublin 8, which has now become a central axis for a huge variety of creative people to experiment and present their work. The relentlessly energetic programme of events combines one-week exhibitions with longer curated projects, and artist initiated shows. The regular launch nights have become legendary in Dublin as a place to congregate and share in the infectious enthusiasm that permeates the building and its visitors. The organisation encourages openness and accessibility to artists and the visiting public alike, and aims to provide an open solid platform for the visual arts. Monster Truck Gallery & Studios is not a commercial entity, but facilitates artists selling their own work by providing studios and exhibition space.
Since 2006, our huge turnover of exhibitions has made it one of the most talked about art spaces in Dublin city, having appeared in numerous art and non art media, including features in The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Image Magazine, The Irish Times Saturday Magazine, The Sunday Tribune, TG4, RTE, Newstalk radio, and ArtReview magazine. In 2008 we collaborated with the Royal Hibernian Academy in a series of events and projects
